What is County City Credit Union?
We are a non-profit financial cooperative owned and operated by our members. We are, literally, people saving and borrowing together to improve our standard of living. As a cooperative, every member is an equal owner with an equal vote. Our Directors are elected by our members at the annual meeting and serve as volunteers without compensation. They establish policies and oversee the operation of the credit union.

Who is eligible to become a member?
Anyone living or working in Jefferson County, or the City of Watertown or Village of Cambridge, is eligible for membership as well as the immediate family of any member. All employees of Universal Electronics are eligible.
How does someone become a member?
A membership card/application needs to be completed and submitted for approval along with proper identification. Once approved, a minimum deposit of $5.00 in a savings account is required.
How is "Payroll Deduction" administered?
Payroll deduction is a convenient and effective means to build savings and make loan payments. We have many local businesses and employers providing this great benefit. To start payroll deduction, stop at our office to complete and sign a payroll authorization form. You may change or stop the deduction whenever you would like (subject to your employer's limitations). Your payroll deduction is kept confidential! Your employer is informed as to the amount to deduct from your payroll, but they are not provided with a breakdown as to how those funds are applied. Only you and the credit union know how your money is used!
Are all transactions and records kept confidential?
YES! Every employee, board member and committee member is required to sign an oath of office promising to keep membership information and financial records in the strictest confidence.
